- All entries must be decorated and tied to the theme - Bolivar's Historic Holiday: 200 Years of Christmas Magic.
- Every float and vehicle must be illuminated for the evening parade.
- Plain, undecorated vehicles will not be allowed in the line-up.
- Candy is encouraged and may be handed out by walkers or thrown from vehicles or floats.
- No political, offensive, or controversial displays.
- Maintain a 30-foot spacing between entries and keep forward motion-no stopping for performances until reaching the judge's stand.
- Staging will begin at 2:00 PM at Bolivar Central High School. All entries must check in at the staging area by 5:00 PM. Late arrivals will be placed at the end.
- No horses or livestock of any kind are permitted.
- Only one official Santa Claus, provided by the City of Bolivar, will be permitted in the parade.
- Only Christmas or theme-appropriate music may be played.
- All participants must demonstrate positive, family-friendly behavior at all times.
- Judging will take place at the amphitheater at the end of the parade route. Parade winners will be recognized at the Small Town, Big Christmas Festival on Saturday, December 15, 2025.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
By signing below, I acknowledge that participation in the Bolivar Christmas Parade is voluntary. I agree to hold harmless the City of Bolivar, Bolivar Main Street, and parade organizers from any liability or injury arising from participation.
