BMI (Body Mass Index) is one of the general indicators surgeons use when assessing readiness for bariatric surgery.

Most international bariatric programs consider:
• BMI of 40 or higher – generally eligible for surgery, or
• BMI of 35 or higher – if combined with health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, or sleep apnoea.

If your BMI is below these levels, surgery may not be medically approved at this time. However, you’re still welcome to complete this form, as our team can guide you toward other options or support programs suited to your goals.
