Payments are primarily accepted via invoices sent using Square, with PayPal as the secondary option. Why Square? PayPal is a service used by a wider range of countries, but they are also known for practices which can hurt small businesses, namely arbitrary account bans for small creators based on the content they create or services they offer, especially when it comes to artists. Additionally, PayPal charges merchants higher fees per payment, while Square charges slightly less. Less fees per transaction means I make more money, which allows me to support myself and continue doing more of what I love more easily over time.
Here's how to send a payment via Square:
1) Provide an email address that you have access to in the following fields.
2) You will be issued an invoice to that email with a link to input your payment information. You do not need an account with Square to send payment. (Payment plan installments will be billed to you in separate invoices on dates that can be discussed.)
3) Done!
You will be sent an invoice via PayPal only if you live outside of the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland (except Northern Ireland), or Spain; or if for some reason a payment via Square fails to process.
