The Alumnae Growth and Retention Excellence Award is presented to alumnae chapters and associations exhibiting a culture of excellence and commitment to membership recruitment and retention.

Applications will be evaluated on the following criteria:

• Group engages in intentional efforts to recruit current Alpha Sigma Tau members to join the chapter/association
• Group actively works to recruit alumnae initiates
• Group has grown membership over the Convention cycle

To be eligible, the group must have submitted an updated chapter/association roster for the 2025 reporting cycle.

Groups may choose to submit a video application OR a written application for this award. Do not submit both - choose one.

Please note the following requirements for each type of application:

Video

• Video must be no longer than 4 minutes in length; videos over 4 minutes will automatically be disqualified.
• Please ensure any speaker introduces themselves with their name and their role in the group, if applicable.
• Please view the video before submission to ensure the sound quality will allow for adequate evaluation

Written

• Written applications may be no longer than three (3) typed, single-spaced pages in 12-point font.
• Applications longer than three pages or in smaller font will automatically be disqualified.
• Applications must be uploaded as a PDF document.

Applications should address the following:

• Describe any activities or outreach the chapter or association conducted or plans to conduct between July 2024 and May 2026 to recruit new Alpha Sigma Tau members to the group. Provide the number of new members successfully recruited.
• Describe any efforts the chapter or association engaged in or plans to engage in between July 2024 and May 2026 to recruit alumnae initiates to the chapter or association. Please provide the names and initiation dates of any alumnae initiates recruited.
