The Order of the Yellow Rose was created to honor alumnae in good standing who have given long, faithful service, or for the successful performance of a special project for Alpha Sigma Tau. Examples of special projects may include, but are not limited to, leading a committee, serving on a task force, leading a major fundraising effort, or long-term service in a volunteer capacity.

Nominators may choose to submit a video application OR a written application for this award. Do not submit both - choose one.

Please note the following requirements for each type of application:

Video

• Video must be no longer than 4 minutes in length; videos over 4 minutes will automatically be disqualified.
• Please ensure any speaker introduces themselves with their name and their relationship to the nominee.
• Please view the video before submission to ensure the sound quality will allow for adequate evaluation

Written

• Written applications may be no longer than three (3) typed, single-spaced pages in 12-point font.
• Applications longer than three pages or in smaller font will automatically be disqualified.
• Applications must be uploaded as a PDF document.

Applications should address the following:

• List any offices the nominee has held in Alpha Sigma Tau
• Provide a detailed explanation using specific examples of the contributions the nominee has made to an alumnae chapter/association, the National Organization, and/or individual members
• Provide a detailed description of the special project(s) the nominee performed, including information about the purpose and impact
