The profits from this workshop will go directly to support Khitam's family, receipts will be shared on socials and if you would like I can also email them to you.

This is being offered on a sliding scale. All price tiers will receive the same workshop and materials. Please choose the registration tier amount that makes sense for you and Venmo your payment to @marythepest with a plant emoji 🌿(profile picture is of a black cat in a walrus costume, last 4 digits are 5837). You can also donate directly to the family and send a receipt to complete registration.

Your contribution will help provide vital support to this multigenerational family trying to survive the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

This winter wreath workshop will take place at the SWANA Rose Culture & Community Center, which is a gathering space centering those with lineages tied to Southwest Asia and North Africa, focused on education, arts, and intersectional solidarity.

The center is located at 2942 NE MLK Jr Blvd, Portland, OR, 97212.

KN95 or better masks are required. We will have masks available if you do not have one. Please stay home if you are not feeling well, we can arrange a time to pick up or drop off materials and instructions if you need to cancel for illness.

All necessary materials will be provided, though if you have any specific accents, floral pieces, bows, etc. you want to use, please bring them! Additionally, if you have gardening gloves please bring them, along with gardening clippers, though I will have some available to share.
