• Anime St. Louis 2026 Panel Registration

  • **Legal last names/surnames are required and must match your state-issued ID or other photo ID. **

These names will not be listed anywhere publicly and are for ASTL staff data only.

  • *Reminder: Beyond 9 total panelists, "additional" panelists will be eligible for early check in but NOT reimbursement. Please consult this with your team to prevent confusion prior to the convention.

  • Upon clicking next for this panel, lead panelist hearby accepts responsibility for their panelist teams behavior, remarks and information given. Those who are not listed on the roster may not participate as panelists. If an unlisted participant acts as a panelist (such as, the lead panelist invites them to be panelists during or prior to the panel) and breaks any rules of Anime St. Louis or partakes in anything inappropriate during your panel it will still be held against the lead panelist. This may result in the lead panelist to not be asked to return in future events.

This does NOT include hecklers or normal panel attendees comments, behaviors or remarks (those are not the panelists' responsibility!)

Further clarification or questions on this may be directed to programming@animestl.net.

  • Lead Panelist Information

  •  -
  • Panel Information

  • If yes, please state why your panel would be considered adult-oriented.

    • Swearing: Please do not mark your panel as 18+ just for swearing as it limits what time slots are available to you. All slots are PG-13.
    • Nudity: Please keep in mind it is against policy to show bare breasts or genitals, animated or not. You CAN show them if censored. This applies to 18+ panels and if caught showing them the panel will be shut down immediately. This is due to state laws outside of our control.
    • Time Restriction: 18+ panels will only be allowed from 8:00 PM to close, Friday and Saturday.
  • Please keep in mind we can not guarantee the day or time you choose, as we do a first-come, first-served basis + current interest. However, we will try our hardest to accommodate your requests.

PLEASE READ THIS OVER, AS IT IS IN REGARDS TO TIME SLOTS.

All panels are, by default, a 1-hour long time slot (including set-up and tear down). Your panel contents should be 50 minutes long and leave 5 minutes in the beginning for setup, and 5 minutes in the end to clean up. Too many panelists have been running over their time, causing an inconvenience for the panelists & panel runners following up.

Example: if your panel is at 4:00PM, you should arrive by 4:00PM, and give yourself 5 minutes to set up and begin your panel at 4:05PM. Your panel should be wrapped up by 4:55 PM and to exit by 5:00 PM. It will be canceled if you are more than 10 minutes late without any notice to your panel.

★RETURNING LEAD PANELISTS can apply for 2-hour slots. If you are not a returning panelist, the option will not show up below.★

We are unable to offer designated 15-30 minute breaks between panels as requested, as we would have to cut down the number of panels we accept drastically to account for the break time.

  • DO NOT choose a day that you can't do. You will be considered able to do every day you choose below. Due to large requests for Sunday day changes, day change requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Example: If your team cannot make Sunday, then do not choose Sunday. If you have school on Friday and can only do Friday night, then please list it on times that do not work.

Please keep in mind the new reimbursement updates!
Sunday panels will receive an additional $5 for Lead and Secondary Panelists for payout. This is to encourage more panels for Sunday.

  • Clarifications for Panel Type:

Crowd Interaction: Gameshows & Trivia that do not cross over FANPOWERED GAMES Show Titles. You may host the games in-character however, the bulk of your entire panel should revolve around the game itself, and not interaction with the characters hosting.

Character Interaction:  Q&A, Ad-Lib/Improv, Game Nights, Skit Oriented, ect. The entertainment for the panel is based on interaction with the characters/actors hosting the panel.

Unique Floor Plan Group Activity: This will be approved on a case-by-case basis due to the nature of the open floor plan activity. This is due to the limited availability of the rooms to do this, and because of sanitary reasons.

  • Panel Breakdown:

Please describe and break down your panel in detail.

What are you doing during the panel? Is it a demo panel, presentation, or something else? What makes your panel interesting and jump out from the rest? Show you have a nice grasp on the subject and what you plan on doing in the time slot.

  • Below you will input your PROGRAM BOOK DESCRIPTION.

This is the #1 reason people get their panels rejected or put on hold. Please take your time to create an interesting, well-thought-out description.

    It must be:

    • 2-4 sentences
    • Spellchecked
    • Engaging and interesting

    Here are some examples:

    Good -

Do you want to learn the history of Anime St. Louis? If so, stop by to hear how the mascots came to be, how the convention has been run, and hurdles along the way.

    Bad -

This is a panel about Anime St. Louis.

  • Equipment Information

  • We will try to accommodate your outside equipment to the best of our abilities. However, please check to see if your laptop/computer device is able to hook up to a projector. If you are unsure, list it below and we'll get back to you.

If you change what laptop-compatible hookup you need without informing Anime St. Louis before the convention or panel, we are not responsible for the panel running late. Staff will do their best to accommodate the change on the spot, but we cannot guarantee having the equipment on hand and will run the risk of your panel running behind.

  • Please understand there is a 5-minute window at the beginning of each panel for set-up time. If you bring your own equipment like a laptop, dvd player or anything of the sort, it is very important to arrive early or prompt to your panel for testing and hook up. Also, you must bring your own cables for your outside equipment. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the notes section.

There is set equipment in each panel room. Below is the list of said equipment. We are unable to accommodate beyond 2 microphones due to setup and sound tests between each panel.

    -(2) Microphones

-(1) Projector & Projector Screen. Remote not included.

-(4) Chairs (You may pull more chairs from the audience)

    -(1) 7' table

    - House Sound Hookup, must be compatible with a 3.55 mm AUX cord (typical for most laptops, not MAC) We will try to accommodate by request, but please prepare to bring your adapter if unsure.

! Beyond this point is ADDITIONAL panel equipment. If you do not click the equipment you need below it will not be present at your panel. If there are any changes, you must e-mail us immediately, or we can not guarantee it will be prepared!

Due to complications, we no longer offer dry-erase boards.

  • WE DO NOT PROVIDE INTERNET.
