  • Theory Training: Diesel Technician

  • Your Emerge training program begins with a self-paced online theory training. In theory training, you will study fundamental concepts and learn whether this vocation is a career fit. Here are the details of your online training: 

    Length: 80 Hours
    Format: Online, Self-paced
    Curriculum: OSHA10 and NCCER Core

    1. Basic Safety — 12.5 hours
    2. Introduction to Construction Math — 10 hours
    3. Introduction to Hand Tools — 10 hours
    4. Introduction to Power Tools — 10 hours
    5. Introduction to Construction Drawings — 10 hours
    6. Introduction to Basic Rigging — 7.5 hours
    7. Basic Communication Skills — 7.5 hours
    8. Basic Employability Skills — 7.5 hours
    9. Introduction to Material Handling — 5 hours

  • Skills Training: Diesel Technician

  • Once you pass and complete theory training, you enroll at one of our partner schools for in-person skills training. Here are the details of your in-person training:

    Location: Worcester, MA 01603

    Summer Session: 10 weeks 
    First Day of Classes: June 22, 2026
    Class Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

    2. Maintaining consistent attendance, with no more than two absences for any reason
    3. Responding to Emerge communication within 24-48 hours. Failure to respond for 7 days may result in discontinuation of your training.

  • Your Emerge training program begins with a self-paced online theory training. In theory training, you will study fundamental concepts and learn whether this vocation is a career fit. Here are the details of your online training: 

    Length: 40 Hours
    Format: Online, Self-paced
    Curriculum:

    1. EPA608 Universal
    2. OSHA10
  • I can commit to at least 10 hours of online study per week (recommended).*

  • Skills Training: HVACR

  • Once you pass and complete theory training, you enroll at one of our partner schools for in-person skills training. Here are the details of your in-person training:

    Location: Worcester, MA 01605 OR Western Mass/Springfield
    Duration: 56 hours, 8 weeks
    First Day of Classes: Tentatively May 2026
    Class Schedule (tentative): 

    • Part-time, evenings: M/W or T/TH from 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM (8 weeks)
    • Part-time, evenings: M-TH from 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM (4 weeks)
