PARTICIPANT LIABILITY WAIVER

I know that participating in the Magic Mutt Holiday Strut includes an element of risk, which could cause injury to myself or my pet. By my signature, I certify that I and my dog(s) are medically able to perform this event, and in good health, and properly trained.

I agree that during this event, my dog(s) will be on a leash and in my control at all times and that dog(s) will be current on all required vaccinations.

I agree not to bring a dog with known dog and/or human aggression or a dog that is in-season. I agree to abide by any decision of the event organizers relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation in the event to protect other participants.

I assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including rain or slippery conditions, traffic and the conditions of the walking surfaces.

Having read this waiver I, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Gardiner Main Street, the City of Gardiner, Maine, all event sponsors, and all volunteers from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event.

I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate promotional purpose.
