  • About the Canberra Brain Cancer Monthly Family Support Group:

    The ABCF Canberra Brain Cancer Monthly Family Support Group is an initiative of the Australian Brain Cancer Foundation (ABCF) in collaboration with the Brain Tumour Alliance of Australia (BTAA) aimed at alleviating the emotional, mental and social pressures of brain cancer for patients and their families and carers. The ABCF Brain Cancer Monthly Family Support Group brings together patients, carers and advocates and creates a safe spaces for all, with access to peer to peer discussion as well as access to a counsellor.

    It will be held at the Griffith Neighbourhood Centre, every third Sunday of the month from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

  • Ages and Numbers of Attendees (for catering and activities)

    It would be really helpful for our preparation if you could indicate the age group(s) and number of attendees, so we can plan suitable light refreshments and activities.
  • Numbers of Attendees for the group counselling sessions

    To help us prepare appropriately, please indicate how many participants will be attending the group support session with the professional counsellor. The session will take place in one of our breakout rooms, providing a quiet and supportive space for attendees.
