STS Holiday Pop Up Shops

Looking for a way to get your products in front of a crowd of people this holiday season? Join Small Town Startup’s Pop-Up Market on 5th Avenue West in Springfield, a short-term retail opportunity for local makers, boutiques, and small businesses to showcase their products right in the heart of downtown Springfield.

Our space sits on 5th Avenue West, one of the busiest streets in town, with steady foot and car traffic all day long. Whether people are headed to lunch, browsing downtown shops, or simply passing through, your business will be right where they can’t miss it.

Each vendor will have their own designated pop-up stall inside our vibrant incubator space, clearly marked and easy to set up. Rent is just $50 per day, and you can choose any day or combination of days from Wednesday through Saturday from November 12 through December 20.

We’ll help with marketing, including paid ads, email promotions, and social media campaigns, and we’ll also encourage every vendor to promote their pop-up, creating a shared wave of visibility throughout the season.

This Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Small Town Startup (“STS”) and the undersigned vendor (“Vendor”) for temporary use of designated pop-up retail space located at 101 5th Avenue West, Springfield, TN 37172.

1. Space & Duration

• STS will provide Vendor with a designated area inside the incubator space, marked with blue painter’s tape on the floor. Vendors must stay within the designed space they are assigned. 
• Vendor may rent one or more spaces, subject to availability.
• Each space is rented on a per-day basis for $50 per day, per space.
• Vendor setup may begin at 9:00 AM on the day of the reservation.
• Vendor must vacate the space by 7:00 PM, unless renting consecutive days.
• Vendors renting for multiple consecutive days may leave their setup overnight at their own risk. STS assumes no responsibility for items left overnight.
• Space includes access to STS WiFi.
  
  
  2. Payment Terms
• All bookings and payments will be made online through the official STS booking system that you are currently on.
• Payment is due in full at the time of booking.
• All payments are nonrefundable, regardless of cancellation or no-show.
  Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
  
  3. Vendor Responsibilities
• Vendor is responsible for providing all equipment, displays, tables, signage, and point-of-sale systems.
• Vendor must keep their assigned space clean and professional in appearance.
• Vendor is responsible for compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to sales tax collection, product labeling, and business licensing.
• Vendor may not attach anything to walls, floors, or windows without prior approval.
• Vendor must remove all personal items and trash at the end of the rental period.
  
  4. Marketing Requirements
• Vendor agrees to actively promote their participation by posting about their pop-up on both their personal and business social media accounts prior to and during their rental day(s).
• STS will provide digital promotional materials and graphics that Vendor may use.
• Participation is contingent upon this marketing requirement. Vendors who do not post may be excluded from future events.
  
  5. Amenities & Access
  This rental does not include access to any STS member amenities, including but not limited to:
• Upstairs meeting rooms
• Complimentary drinks
• Office equipment or storage space
• Vendor’s access is limited to the designated pop-up space and common entry areas.
  
  6. Liability & Insurance
• Vendor operates at their own risk. STS is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to Vendor’s property.
• Vendor shall hold harmless and indemnify STS, its employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, or losses arising from Vendor’s participation or negligence.
• Vendors selling food or consumables must comply with all health regulations and assume full liability for their products.
  
  7. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
• Payments are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
• Failure to show up on the booked day forfeits the fee.
• STS reserves the right to cancel participation for any reason, including inappropriate conduct, policy violation, or unsafe setup. In such cases, STS may, at its sole discretion, refund the payment.
  
  8. General Terms
• STS does not curate booths or create exclusivity agreements. All business types are welcomed, and you may be near a competitor.
• STS reserves the right to adjust or modify space assignments as needed.
• Vendor shall not sublet or share their space without written consent.
• This Agreement does not create any partnership, employment, or joint venture relationship between STS and Vendor.
  By purchasing the space, Vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by all terms and conditions of this Agreement.
