Kalyani Yoga LLC. By signing this waiver and participating in breathwork, yoga, or meditation sessions, workshops, or courses (collectively, "Sessions"), whether in-person or online, provided by Kalyani Yoga LLC and any of it's representatives, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Acknowledgment of Risks. I understand that participation in the Sessions involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: Loss of consciousness, Dizziness or lightheadedness, Tetany (muscle cramps or spasms), Tingling sensations, Physical strains, sprains, muscle tears, joint injuries, or falls (particularly in yoga) Emotional distress, anxiety, or psychological effects (particularly in meditation or breathwork), Hyperventilation, panic, or exacerbation of pre-existing conditions*

These risks may pose a danger to my health and well-being, particularly if practiced without proper supervision. I agree to ensure my own appropriate supervision, monitoring, and safeguards when practicing breathwork, yoga, or meditation at home or outside of supervised sessions. For online Sessions, I acknowledge additional risks due to lack of hands-on guidance, immediate assistance, or direct oversight, and I assume responsibility for performing activities in a safe environment with adequate space, equipment, and no hazards.
Participant Responsibility for Online Sessions*

For online Sessions, I further assume responsibility for my internet connection, device functionality, physical space, and any equipment used, ensuring it is safe and appropriate. I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age or, if under 18, have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate.
Relevant Medical Conditions. I acknowledge that the Sessions are not suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions, including but not limited to: Cardiovascular disease (e.g., angina, heart attack), High blood pressure, Glaucoma or retinal detachment, Osteoporosis, Recent physical injuries or surgeries, Severe mental illness or seizure disorders, Use of major medications, Personal or family history of aneurysms, Pregnancy (without prior approval from a primary care physician), Asthma (participants must have an inhaler present and consult their physician), Back, neck, or joint issues (particularly for yoga)*

I confirm that I have consulted with a licensed medical professional prior to participating in the Sessions if I have any of the above conditions or other health concerns. I understand that it is my responsibility to disclose any relevant medical history to my healthcare provider before participating.
Liability Release

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Sessions, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Kalyani Yoga LLC, Kalyani Jen Tobin, their officers, employees, agents, or representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me as a result of my participation in the Sessions, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by Florida law.

Media Consent

I understand that photographs, videos, audio recordings, or other media may be taken or captured during the Sessions for promotional, advertising, or social media purposes by Kalyani Yoga LLC. I hereby grant Kalyani Yoga LLC permission to use my likeness in such media without compensation. This includes any recordings from online Sessions (e.g., live streams or virtual classes). If I do not consent to the use of my likeness, I will notify the session facilitator in writing prior to the start of the session. I understand that opting out will not affect my ability to participate in the Sessions.

Assumption of Responsibility

I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the Sessions and assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, that may result from my participation.

Governing Law and Severability

This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. If any provision of this waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. This waiver constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior understandings.

By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this waiver. I have had the opportunity to consult with a medical professional if necessary and have disclosed any relevant health conditions to ensure my safe participation.
