Terms and Conditions
BIVAK
We kindly request that you observe the rules of the organization (such as driving quietly, etc.) and give any interested parties ample opportunity to view our vehicles and provide them with information.
As a participant, you are of course also subject to certain ‘rules’:
When setting up your camp, please take into account the locations indicated by the organization.
Please bear in mind that, as an organization, our starting point is to achieve as ‘green’ a campsite as possible. It is therefore quite possible that modern camping accommodations will be located together.
Unfortunately, generators are not allowed! There are sufficient power points at the campsite where you can connect to the power supply.
Please note: you will need to bring your own blue 3-pin CEE plug or 230v EU extension cord!
Campfires and fire pits are prohibited.
The use of vehicles with combustion engines in the categories
quads, garden tractors, mopeds, scooters, TukTuks, lawnmowers, etc. at the campsite are strictly prohibited. If a violation is detected, the organization reserves the right to deny individuals access to the event or refuse further participation in the event.
The grounds of the Rijvereniging Stad en Lande Ruiters horse riding club are strictly off-limits to participants without the permission of the HGB board members!
The organization is not responsible for loss and/or theft of property.
By entering the grounds, visitors or participants expressly consent to being photographed for promotional purposes.
The Event
The event is exclusively accessible to military vehicles from the period 1939-1945.
Tracked vehicles are permitted provided they are equipped with rubber tracks.
During the tours, drivers are requested to wear at least appropriate green clothing.
All co-drivers are required to wear at least appropriate green or civilian clothing from the period 1940-1945.
The Gooi Bevrijd Foundation accepts no liability whatsoever and cannot be held liable in any way for any injury and/or material damage and/or immaterial damage that visitors and/or participants may suffer.
Visiting and participating in the event is entirely at your own risk.
The undersigned therefore declares that they are adequately insured.
Motorcyclists are required to wear a helmet at all times during tours of the Het Gooi Bevrijd event.
Motorcyclists are also not permitted to ride on the sidewalk during the tours.
Instructions from the police, traffic controllers, and organizers must be followed strictly.
The applicable traffic rules must be observed at all times, including on the campsite.
Violations of the applicable rules, disorderly conduct, or behavior that brings the name of Stichting Het Gooi Bevrijd into disrepute will result in immediate exclusion from participation and disciplinary measures may be taken.
Drugs and alcohol:
There is a zero tolerance policy for drugs. The use of both soft and hard drugs is prohibited. It is prohibited to enter the site under the influence of drugs. If a violation is detected, access will be denied and/or the police will be called.
Drinking alcohol is permitted, but it is not permitted to drive or operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If a violation is detected, further participation in the event will be refused and/or the police will be called. An exception applies to medication and/or other items that are necessary in connection with an allergy and/or medical condition. For this, the visitor or participant must be able to present a medical certificate from a doctor or pharmacist.
It is prohibited to enter the event with firearms, knives (except pocket knives that cannot be used as weapons), blunt weapons (brass knuckles), stabbing weapons (daggers, swords), fireworks, torches, explosives, pepper spray, other harmful or toxic chemicals, drones (without permission from the organization), laser pointers, and/or flags, banners, or clothing with political or discriminatory texts and/or other dangerous or hateful objects.
Bringing and carrying (hand) weapons (as defined in the Dutch Weapons Act) is not permitted. Carrying weapons ‘attached’ to the WWII vehicle is possible after submitting the correct documents to, and approval by, the organization of Het Gooi Bevrijd before the event begins.
Weapon demonstrations and mock battles are not appreciated without consultation with the event organization.
Inappropriate green clothing such as German uniforms, Nazi symbols, modern camouflage suits (Rambo outfit and/or desert storm, Woodland, Digital Camo, etc.) and the wearing of undeserved decorations and medals are not permitted.
In cases not covered by these regulations, the organization will decide.
By signing this form, the undersigned declares that they are participating in this event entirely at their own risk.
