Black Women in Volunteer Application
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Black Women in Food Summit. The Summit will be held on April 23-25, 2026 in Washington, DC. The event is an opportunity for food, beverage, and hospitality professionals to connect, learn and find opportunities for growth.
Please read the information below carefully before submitting an application.
Volunteer Participation Overview
Volunteers support the flow and logistics of the Summit. Volunteer roles are limited and submitting an application does not guarantee placement.
Volunteer Application Timeline
Volunteer applications open: Tuesday, January 20
Volunteer applications close: Friday, February 6
All applicants will be notified: Week of February 16
All applicants, whether selected or not, will receive notification by the stated date.
Access & Expectations
- Volunteer access is shift-based and limited to assigned shift(s) and day(s)
- Volunteer roles do not include full Summit access
- Volunteers are expected to fulfill all assigned shifts and follow on-site leadership direction
- Failure to complete assigned shifts may result in removal from the volunteer program
Applying to volunteer does not reserve a ticket, pause pricing, or guarantee complimentary access to the Summit

All volunteers are required to adhere to the Summit’s Code of Conduct and professionalism standards at all times.
