BASTA BOATLIFTS SERVICE DEPARTMENT LIMITED WARRANTY
Basta Inc. dba Basta Boatlifts (“Company”) warrants service work performed by the Company or its authorized agents, subject to the following terms, conditions, and limitations.
1. Service Workmanship
All service work performed by Company technicians is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of service completion. Should workmanship defects be confirmed by the Company, corrective work will be performed at no charge to the Purchaser.
2. Lift Leveling
Lift leveling services are warranted for ninety (90) days from completion to maintain proper lift level and function under normal use and environmental conditions. Adjustments required due to settling, erosion, movement of dock structures, or water level fluctuations are not covered.
3. Lift Moves
Lift moves performed within the same property or site are warranted for ninety (90) days for proper operational functionality and correct installation when operated in accordance with Company specifications.
4. Materials
Materials, components, or parts provided and installed by the Company during service work are warranted according the Basta Limited Warranty found here https://bastaboatlifts.com/support/. Consumables, coatings, and cosmetic finishes are expressly excluded.
EXCLUSIONS
This Service Department Limited Warranty does not apply to:
Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, overloading, or neglect;
Environmental or site changes affecting lift performance;
Normal wear, corrosion, or deterioration;
Unauthorized repairs or modifications;
Labor or travel beyond the coverage scope of this warranty.
Changes in lift performance caused by variations in boat weight, site conditions, or dock alignment after a move.
Issues caused by unsuitable site conditions including, but not limited to, depth variation, soft or unstable substrate, or structural limitations after a move
Operational performance, position and structural integrity if Company recommend structural improvements are declined/ not implemented.
LIMITATIONS
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Company’s sole obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair, replacement, or refund at its sole discretion. In no event shall the Company be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use, revenue, or profit.
