Membership Application & Agreement

The War Ravens Motorcycle Club, Inc. ("the Club") exists as a lawful nonprofit social brotherhood dedicated to honor, integrity, loyalty, and safe riding, preserving the spirit of Norse heritage and the open road.

By completing this agreement, the applicant affirms a clear understanding of the Club's Code, By-Laws, and Rules of Conduct, and pledges to uphold them faithfully.

To qualify for membership in the War Ravens Motorcycle Club, Inc., the applicant affirms that they:

1. Are at least 21 years of age and hold a valid motorcycle endorsement.

2. Are of sound moral character and committed to lawful conduct.

3. Support the Club's mission, Norse heritage, and community service goals.

4. Have never been convicted of violent or dishonorable crimes.

5. Agree to follow all local, state, and federal laws while representing the Club.

6. Understand that membership is a privilege, not a right, and may be revoked for cause.

7. Acknowledge that this is a nonprofit social organization - not a business or political entity.

By submitting this application, you certify understanding of the following:

I have read and understand the By-Laws and Code of the War Ravens. I understand that my membership may be terminated if I violate the Code, the law, or this agreement. I will ride and act with respect toward the Club, its members, and the public. I agree to attend official meetings, events, and rides as required. I will not use the Club's name, patch, or reputation for personal or commercial gain. I release the Club and its officers from liability for injuries or damages incurred during official activities, except in cases of proven negligence. I consent to reasonable safety checks of my motorcycle for official Club rides. I will immediately report any accidents, violations, or incidents occurring during Club events.

VI. Dues and Financial Obligations

1. Annual dues (if applicable) are determined by The Thing and used solely for Club operations, insurance, and events.

2. No officer or member may personally profit from Club funds.

3. Nonpayment of dues may result in suspension or termination of membership.

4. Support Members are exempt from dues and voting requirements.

VII. Code of Conduct Agreement

1. Conduct themselves with honor, discipline, and respect.

2. Uphold the Nine Virtues of the Raven and represent the Club with pride.

3. Avoid actions that bring dishonor or legal risk to the Club.

4. Refrain from alcohol or substance abuse during official rides.

5. Settle disputes through the Conflict Resolution Policy, not aggression.

6. Respect the hierarchy and decisions of The Thing and officers.

7. Maintain confidentiality of all internal matters.

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that motorcycling involves inherent risks including injury, property damage, and death. I accept all such risks voluntarily and hereby release and hold harmless the War Ravens Motorcycle Club, Inc., its officers, members, and affiliates from any liability arising from my participation in any Club event, ride, or activity, except in cases of proven negligence.

IX. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

All members are bound by a duty of confidentiality. No member shall disclose internal communications, records, financial data, or private information of the Club to any outside person or entity without written authorization from The Thing.

X. Acknowledgment of Membership Terms

Membership is contingent upon approval by The Thing after evaluation and recommendation.

Probationary (Prospect) membership may be terminated without cause during evaluation.

I must return all Club property, including patches or colors, upon resignation or termination.

I have no ownership interest in the Club's property, accounts, or assets.

I, the undersigned, certify that the information provided is true and complete. I understand that falsification of this application may result in immediate denial or termination of membership.
