UP.2026.Spring - UpBeat Spring Registrations
  • CFCArts Spring 2026 UpBeat! Registration

Central Florida Community Arts UpBeat! Theatre Troupe provides an artistic platform for youth, teen, and adult exceptional learns and neurodivergent performers. We welcome members aged 8 and up, with 3 different options for members to choose from.
  • For those who are opting for a DSACF Scholarship, and do NOT finish the season, we are now requiring that you pay a portion of your dues to cover expenses incurred for the portion of the season completed, as we do not receive scholarship money if you do not complete the season and cannot fill a vacated spot in UpBeat! after the season has begun.

These dues go to covering our rehearsals, rehearsal venues, equipment, performance materials, teachers, Music Therapists, & other UpBeat! Team members.

  • Spring 2026 UpBeat! Registration Information

UpBeat! has 3 sections - UpBeat! Junior for students 8-15 years old, UpBeat! Virtual for ages 16 & up, and UpBeat! In-person for 16 & up.
  • Attendance requirement

We ask that all members attend 85% of rehearsals (14 of 17 for Virtual and Junior, 13 of 16 for Adult) and all tech rehearsals (4 of 4 for Adult, 3 of 3 for Junior, Virtual to attend scheduled recording session).

We structure UpBeat! so that we have small scenes for each member to shine. When members are absent, it greatly affects the rest of the group.

If a member is to miss more than the allotted 3 absences, we may have to minimize their role in the show or recast as appropriate, depending on the situation. If there is a reason that you would need to miss more than the allotted absences, please reach out to us. We are happy to work with you on a case-by-case basis, as we know that life happens.

For any last-minute absences, please let us know by email as soon as possible, preferably at least 2 hours before rehearsal.

    Rehearsal Dates for Spring 2026:

    • VIRTUAL: Mondays 6:30-7:30pm via Zoom Starting February 2nd
    • JUNIOR (In-person): Wednesdays 6:00-7:15pm starting February 4th at DSACF
    • ADULT (In-person): Thursdays 6:00-7:30pm starting February 5th at First Congregational Church of Winter Park
  • Membership Dues

  • Membership Dues at CFCArts help to cover the expenses that the organization incurs throughout the rehearsal process of each season. Therefore, each member is asked to pay the Membership Dues regardless of the member’s availability to perform at the conclusion of the season.

Members that need to withdraw mid-season will owe a percentage of the Membership Dues to the organization before being eligible to rehearse for a future season - including those on a DSACF Membership.
