The following is our waiver that all competitors must sign prior to competing with us.
I am riding at the 2025 Branded Cowgirl Barrel Racing Series, at Selwyn Equestrian Centre at my own risk. These facilities have been provided in as safe of a condition as possible, and in the best intentions to offer a secure environment for a barrel racing and pole bending. This facility has multiple hazards such as electric fences, livestock, farm machinery and many other hazards.
By signing this waiver, you enter this property at your own risk and at no time can the organisers of this event or the Branded Cowgirl Barrel Racing Series be held liable for any accident, injury, loss, or damage to any person/persons or property in the responsible care of the signee. Riding in approved riding helmet recommended for adults and enforced for all under 16 years.
I am aware of the risks and take responsibility for any accident that may occur to me or my horse/s. If I or my horse/s directly damages any property while at this event, such as and including electronic timers, equiptment, fencing or yarding, I will pay for the cost of repair or recommended retail replacement.
I am aware that any photos taken durning the series may be used for promotional material to help promote BCBRS.

As organisers of the Branded Cowgirl Barrel Racing Series, we have appointed our own Animal Welfare officer who Branded Cowgirl Barrel Racing designates on the day of a Series.
Our Animal Welfare officer, along with ourselves the organisers reserve the right to discuss with a rider/owner any issues that we deem contrary to these codes and that could be perceived as a threat to our sport of barrel racing.
