We’re excited to announce the 2026 Island Mountain Ramblers Photo Contest!

We invite you to share your favourite backcountry photos from the past two years—whether they capture a memorable summit, a beautiful trail, an unexpected adventure, or simply a great day in the mountains with fellow Ramblers.

Winning entries will be featured on the IMR website, and selected photos may also be used in club communications and promotions. All submitted photos may be included in a slideshow at our annual Christmas Party, giving us a chance to celebrate the adventures and amazing places our members have experienced together

    Notes on how to enter
Please complete this form and attach the images to the corresponding category.

Complete Rules can be viewed here.

    Notes on uploading images

If you are struggling with the form, you can email Matthew imrvicepresident@gmail.com. He will help you through the entry process, but only if you get in touch with us a reasonable time before the deadline.

    Entries

    • We accept JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF, or HEIC image formats
    • You may upload up one photo pre category, and you can leave categories empty if you don't want to enter
    • Images must be at least 1 MB in size. The form will reject images that are too small.
    • Images downloaded from social media sites are likely too small for the contest because they are compressed.

Entry closes end of day on November 20, 2026. We will present all the entries at the club Christmas Party.

We will announce the winners in mid-December 2026.
