  • 2026 At-Large Teen Contestant Application, Rules & Guidelines Applications accepted beginning November 1, 2025

    Teen Paperwork Submission
  • Welcome to the Miss Minnesota's Teen Competition! We are excited to have you as a part of this life-changing organization and congratulate you on taking the next step to compete for the title of Miss Minnesota's Teen.

Thank you for your interest in competing in the Miss Minnesota's Teen 2026 At-Large Competition.

The At Large Competition is accepting contestant applications beginning November 1, 2025. Deadline to apply until February 28, 2026.  Interested contestants must complete this application and submit all materials before this date.

Please see the guidelines to remember while serving with your At-Large title:

    • At-Large title is effective from the date that the Entry Fee is paid. The sooner you sign up, the sooner you receive your crown and sash.
    • We strongly encourage you to ultilize sponsors to help defray the cost of your entry fee.
    • At-Large titles will end at the conclusion of the Miss Minnesota's Teen competition each year. In 2025-26, your title will end on June 20, 2026. At this time, your year of service has concluded and appearances representing your At-Large title must cease. On June 21, 2026, you are eligible to compete in a Local Competition or complete the At-Large registration for 2026-27, when available.
    • At-Large contestants MUST respect cities that host Local Competitions, for both Teen and Miss. Please refrain from making appearances in those communities,  even if you live there, without approval from the Local Organization. Seeking sponsorship from organizations that support a Local Competition, it must first be cleared with the respective Local Organization. A good rule is to always invite the local titleholder from that community to participate alongside you. If you are not sure who to contact, please contact the State Director for details.
    • Included in your At-Large entry fee is your official sash and meals. If a crown is worn with the official sash, it must be the Miss America Local Titleholder crown which you will need to purchase through the state board for $150.
    • At-Large contestants MUST adhere to all rules and regulations of the Miss Minnesota Scholarship Organization whether a Teen or Miss titleholder.
    • Must sign up on the Miss America website and pay the $49.99 once per year fee to Miss America. Follow this link: https://www.club.missamerica.org/join-page once open, click on the State of Minnesota.
    • Attend Zoom conference calls to learn about the deadlines, etc for Miss Minnesota's Teen.
    • Attend Contestant Orientation on April 17-18, 2026 to learn about competing during Miss Minnesota's Teen week, turn in final paperwork as requested, and participate in any filming leading up to the state competition.
    • The Miss Minnesota Board of Directors has final approval after reviewing your paperwork and video to accept you as an At-Large Contestant to participate in the Miss Minnesota's Teen State Competition. We will notify you via email after reviewing your submission.

We cannot wait to see the impact you have on your community and the work you will do with your Social Impact Initiative! The entire Miss Minnesota Organization congratulates you and is excited to see you on our stage!
