Whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or a vintage lover wanting to upcycle and repair your favorite finds, our classes are designed to inspire creativity and confidence.   • GREAT NEWS! ALL SEWING CLASSES LISTED BELOW UNTIL JULY ARE ALL SKILL LEVELS, ALL AGES. Never sewn but thrive on learning in a small hands on setting? We start every class from the top- understanding and threading your machine! 

    Don't have your own sewing machine? We offer a variety of well serviced machines available for rent but we PREFER YOU BRING YOUR OWN MACHINE IF POSSIBLE!  Our goal is for students to feel confident in independent home sewing after just one class! Get aquainted with the machine you intend on using in your sewing journey or rent one of ours until you aquire your own! 

    What should you bring to class?  All classes vary in supply list but every student at every class should bring your SEWING MACHINE, FABRIC SCISSORS, STRAIGHT PINS/ SEWING CLIPS, SEAM RIPPER, MEASURING TAPE, ALL PURPOSE POLYESTER THREAD, BOBBINS COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR MACHINE (2), NOTEBOOK FOR SEWING NOTES. IF YOU ARE RENTING A MACHINE, ALL LISTED NOTIONS ABOVE WILL BE PROVIDED. Forgot something walking out the door? Don't fret we will have all supplies on hand during class but would like YOU to have your own ready-to-sew kit at your fingertips during and after class!

            CLOTHING CONSTRUCTION BASICS with ERIN/ MAY 23RD 3pm-6pm

            ALL AGES AND SKILL LEVELS!

            Learn the ins and outs of paper patterns! Erin starts from the basics 👌 - reading and understanding what a pattern calls for, sizing, yardage, etc. 


            After an in-depth discussion of pattern abbreviations, symbols, notches, ect. we will dive into FABRIC GRAIN, layout and cutting of pattern pieces. 


            MATERIAL IS NOT PROVIDED

            TO BRING: Flat bed sheet (pick one up second hand or use one you'd like to retire!) to practice spacing, cutting and assembling. Bring your first paper pattern to life! 


            Have a paper pattern at home you'd love to dive in to? Bring it to class! If not we will have ample patterns to choose from to experiment with!

            WHIMSY BEACHY SUMMER LAYER with JESS/ SUNDAY JUNE 7TH 3pm-6pm

            Turn two yards of light, summer appropriate material (flat sheets work great!) into a lil' something to slip over a swim suit or any look! 


            We start the class with the basics, threading and winding our bobbins while understanding how it all works! We will then dive into a no-pattern garment construction crash course and will be finishing the boarders in no time! 


            MATERIAL NOT PROVIDED. 


            What to bring? Second hand flat sheets strongly encouraged but any thinner material will work! (two yards)  If not renting a machine from us, please provide above listed notions to aid in your sewing!

            Stretch Crop Top with Taylor-Sunday 6/14 3P-6P

            Bring a stretch crop top from your own collection to use as a pattern for your custom creation! Also bring your machine (or rent one of ours!), above listed notions and one yard of 4-way-stretch material to create your crop top! 


            Master your sewing machine settings to conquer stretch materials and ensure no seams get popped! 


            In this class, Taylor leads a stretch fabric crash course where you will use a great fitting crop top of your own to create a custom look for yourself!

            A minimum of two students is required for each class. If a class doesn’t meet that minimum, you’ll receive a refund or have the option to transfer to another session.
