  • Eligibility criteria

    The recipient must be a member of OLA/OHLIA, at the time of the OLA Super Conference attendance. It is encouraged that if the recipient is not a member of OLA/OHLIA, that they register for membership in the division to take advantage of our health library and information offerings.

    Recipients should be currently working in a health information or library environment.

    Priority will be given to individuals who have not previously attended the Conference.

     

    Evaluation Criteria 

    In alignment with OHLIA’s commitment to supporting equitable access to professional development across Ontario’s diverse health library landscape, special consideration will be given to applicants who reflect the following priorities: 

    • Serve communities in rural or remote regions, where professional networking and development opportunities are often limited 
    • Are in the early stages of their library careers (including students and those with fewer than five years of experience) 
    • Work in health-focused information settings, such as hospital or clinical libraries 
      Face financial or institutional barriers that limit their ability to attend Super Conference in person 
    • Have limited access to relevant learning opportunities within their geographic or organizational context 
    • Plan to actively contribute to the conference program as a presenter
