  • 2026 Commercial Levy

    Any commercial photographer/videographer who sells images/video clips (personalised reels or other) from the Adelaide Equestrian Festival to competitors, general public, or to other businesses who are not sponsors of the event or no accredited media is required to either:- apply and pay a $250 'Commercial Photographers/Videography Levy' before the event. Submissions close on Friday 3 April, 2026.
  • Any commercial photographer or videographer who intends to sell images from our event to competitors or the general public must comply with one of the following requirements:

    • Pay a $250 'Commercial Photographer and Videographer Levy', or
    • Provide 10 high-definition, watermark-free images of our choosing, which can be used to promote the Adelaide Equestrian Festival across various platforms, including our website, social media, outdoor media, official program, partner acquisition, and more, or
    • Provide 10 high-quality, royalty-free video clips (minimum 7 seconds each) of our choosing, which can be used to promote the Adelaide Equestrian Festival across various platforms, including the website, social media, outdoor media, official program, partner acquisition, and more.

    Still photography and videography: Any commercial photographer or videographer, or advertisement thereof, taken of the competition or otherwise at the event, without applying for and paying the 'Commercial Photographers Levy' is expressly forbidden. Photographers/Videographers who fail to comply with these guidelines will be considered in violation of the Adelaide Equestrian Festival's intellectual property rights and may be asked to leave the premises.

  • 'Commercial Photographer/Videographer Levy'

    An invoice will be distributed on receipt of your application if you have elected to pay the fee. Payment is due before you are permitted to take images on the festival site, this includes Victoria Park, King Rodney Park and Rymill Park. Security, Volunteers and Adelaide Equestrian Festival staff will be ensuring photographers/videographers are compliant. Failure to do so will see photographers/videographers infringing intellectual property law and risk being removed from the premise.
