The Ronald McDonald House is a "home away from home" for families with sick or injured children who need to be near a hospital for medical treatment.
Our church is scheduled to volunteer on the last Saturday of every month from 3-6:30 PM. We prepare, serve, and eat meals with the families. Dinner is served at 5:30 PM. We also help with clean up and dishwashing afterwards.
The meal serves up to 70 people. Leftovers get packed in containers provided by the House and are labeled with the date, as well as whether the meal is vegetarian or non-vegetarian.
We are allowed to bring 10-12 volunteers, ages 14 and above.
We'll meet at Ronald McDonald House at 3:00 PM.
