Pathobiology 2026 Trainee Scholar Award Application

Application Deadline: Tuesday, January 20, 2026 • 11:59 PM (ET)
Trainee Scholar Awards recognizes excellence in research for ASIP Trainee/Fellow members (Undergraduate Student, Pre-Doctoral Trainee or Post-Doctoral Fellow). The awardee is selected based upon the scientific merit of their submitted abstract.

Failure to submit these required documents will result in disqualification of your application.

Eligibility Requirements and Required Supporting Documentation:

1. Be an ASIP Trainee member (Undergraduate Student, Pre-Doctoral Trainee, Post-Doctoral Fellow) in good standing at the time of application submission and through the dates of the meeting.

2. The award applicant MUST be the first author of the abstract.

3. Abstract submission(s) to one (or more) ASIP Topic Categories by the established deadline.

4. Register for Pathobiology 2026 by the established deadline.

5. A current copy of your Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume.

6. A Letter of Recommendation from your supervisor.

7. A copy of your submitted abstract.

Attendance during the full meeting is mandatory. The Trainee Scholar award will be rescinded if the awardee is not present.
