Myrtle Beach Therapeutic Riding + Vaulting Club Hold Harmless Agreement

This Release Contains Important Limitations of Legal Liability

The undersigned states as follows: I acknowledge that competitive, pleasure and therapeutic horse riding and vaulting contains inherent risks of injury and damage to me personally, to my horse and to my equipment. Knowing these facts, I nevertheless, in consideration to your acceptance of this form, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators hereby indemnify, waive, release, discharge and hold harmless Cynthia Mills, Jessie Harrelson, Amy Albertson, MYRTLE BEACH THERAPEUTIC RIDING + VAULTING CLUB, it’s board of directors, member-parents, coaches, loungers and volunteers with any related event; and the American Vaulting Association, it’s member clubs, it’s board of directors, officers or the employees or agents thereof, all individual members thereof and all other persons and organizations in any way connected with the events, property, boarding, lessons or any other related activity, and their representatives, heirs, executors, administrators and assigns from any and all right, claims of any kind or damages which may occur to me including injuries to animals, or from any claims of any kind or nature that I have as a result of, or arising out of my partcipation in any actvity. Further, I do hereby acknowledge that this release will extend to any accidents, damages or claims arising out of my participation, caused by my own act, or the acts of anyone or animal within my control. I further agree that I will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Cynthia Mills, Jessie Harrelson, Amy Albertson, MYRTLE BEACH THERAPEUTIC RIDING + VAULTING CLUB, vaulters, member-parents, coaches, loungers and volunteers with any related event; and the American Vaulting Association, it’s member clubs, it’s officers, directors, members and agents or any of them against all claims, demands and causes of action including court costs, and attorney’s fees, directly or indirectly arising from any action or other proceeding brought by or prosecuted for my benefit contrary to this release extended to all claims of every kind and nature whatsoever whether known or unknown and expressly waive any benefit I may have under the Laws of the State of South Carolina relating to the release of unknown claims. I do acknowledge that I have read the foregoing paragraphs and know and understand the content thereof.

for and in consideration of our child’s participation in all activities of the THERAPEUTIC and VAULTING programs and state that we have read the waiver, release and warning and hold harmless written above and we expressly agree that the terms and conditions of said waiver, release and hold harmless shall apply to and be binding upon us and our minor child in so far as it pertains to his or her participation and to any injury and damage said minor child, or his or her horse, may sustain or cause as a result of said participation. I declare under penalty of perjury
that the foregoing is true and correct. I do acknowledge that I have read the foregoing paragraphs and know and understand the content thereof. This agreement is good until revoked in writing.

I grant to Myrtle Beach Therapeutic Riding + Vaulting Club, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs of me and my property. I authorize Myrtle Beach Therapeutic Riding + Vaulting Club, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/ or electronically.

I agree that Myrtle Beach Therapeutic Riding + Vaulting Club may use such photographs of me with or without my name for any lawful purpose, including such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content.

I have read and understand the above:
