Responsibilities include:
- Instruction & Curriculum: Prepare, deliver, and teach a complete course syllabus that meets academy standards.
- Student Success: Actively engage with students to support their academic progress. Provide tutoring and academic counseling as needed.
- Evaluation: Develop and apply fair, consistent methods to measure student progress. Evaluate performance promptly to maximize learning outcomes.
- Classroom Management: Create a supportive, respectful classroom environment. Monitor attendance, punctuality, and overall academic behavior.
- Compliance: Follow all approved instructional policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or EKG Technician.
- Certification: National Certification as a Medical Assistant or EKG Technician (required).
- Teaching Credential: Teaching Certification (required).
- Skills: Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bonus: Proficiency in Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) is a plus, but not required.
