We pride ourselves on small class sizes, one-on-one instruction, and a supportive environment where both students and instructors can thrive. We are currently seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) Instructor who brings both technical expertise and compassion into the classroom. The ideal candidate is a skilled healthcare professional with a passion for teaching and preparing the next generation of caregivers.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver engaging instruction in accordance with approved curriculum for Home Health Aide training programs
- Monitor student attendance, performance, and classroom participation
- Provide clear assessments and constructive feedback to ensure student success
- Prepare lesson plans, demonstrations, and course materials
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and K&G Career Academy standards
- Offer tutoring, mentoring, and academic counseling as needed
- Create a supportive and professional classroom environment that fosters learning and growth
Qualifications:
- Valid NJ Registered Nurse (RN) (required by state regulations for HHA instructors)
- Prior teaching or training experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) preferred, but not required
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success
What We Offer:
- $30 - $35 per hour
- Per Diem/PT -30hrs per week, 1099 Contractor
