Responsibilities include:
- Instruction & Evaluation: Prepare a comprehensive course syllabus and deliver engaging, hands-on instruction. Develop and use a fair method to measure student progress toward course objectives, providing prompt feedback.
- Student Support: Demonstrate sensitivity to student needs, offering tutoring and academic counseling as needed to ensure maximum learning.
- Classroom Management: Monitor classroom operations, including student attendance (absenteeism and tardiness), discipline, and general academic behavior.
- Compliance: Follow all approved school policies and procedures in the conduct of instructional activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in the field of Phlebotomy.
- Certification: Current National Certification in Phlebotomy Technician or Medical Assisting.
- Teaching Credential: A Teaching Certification is required.
- Skills: Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bonus: Proficiency in Bilingual Spanish or Creole is a plus, but not required.
