  • ARC Board of Directors Expectations & Requirements - 3 year term

    Expectations of board members are that you are able to fulfil the following annual commitments:

    • Hold a key volunteer position on a sanctioned rodeo Committee or are a paid staff member with rodeo responsibilities for a sanctioned rodeo.
    • Ability to attend quarterly virtual Board meetings that are traditionally an hour and held during traditional business day hours
    • Ability to attend the ARC Conference that is held in the Spring or Fall. The conference location changes every 2 years.
    • Ability to attend to the ARC Committee Mixer that is traditionally held during the PRCA Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
    • Ability to be a part of at least one (1) Board subcommittee.
    • All Board positions are voluntary and are non-paid.
  • ARC Board Members have a requirement to be part of at least one (1) Board Sub-Committee.

    1. Conference Planning

    Purpose: to plan, lead & produce the annual ARC conference with the support & assistance of the ARC Board

    2. Finance & Board Policies

    Purpose:

    • to oversee & monitor the financials of the organization
      • create& maintain a bank account standard
    • responsiblefor overseeing membership dues, conference registration funds and sponsorship funds

    3. Resources& Education

    Purpose:

    • to create programs & deliverables for members to implement locally
    • to provide information to educate rodeo committees on processes, rules and potential changes

    Projects: youth camp template program,

    4. Engagement & Recruitment

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan, lead & produce the mixer during the NFR/PRCA Conference
    • To connect members through network opportunities that may include webinars and video chat events
    • To drive new membership and retain current members
    • To recommend potential Directors to the Board for consideration

    Projects: quarterly webinars to improve rodeos locally
