INTRODUCTION

In November 2023, Football Victoria (FV) adopted a new Constitution whereby Clubs can
annually apply to be Members of FV. Clubs that complete the Annual Club Membership
Process and meet the minimum Associate Member Club Criteria will be sanctioned to compete in FV Competitions. Clubs that meet the Voting Member Club Criteria will also be afforded the right to vote under FV’s new One-Club-One-Vote Governance model and contribute to shaping the future of our sport in Victoria.

FV has long acknowledged the importance of well-governed Clubs – providing stable and
welcoming environments to foster positive football experiences. The Annual Club Membership Process will ensure Clubs meet minimum regulatory standards and strive for equity outcomes in our game.
