  • By sending your deposit and securing an appointment, you’re confirming that you’ve read and agreed to all of Trish Ink’s policies and conditions listed below.

    Please read carefully before paying your deposit or booking your session. 

  • Pricing & Rates
    • Hourly rate: $170
    • Minimum charge: $150
    • Quotes include: setup + design + tattooing
    • If the session runs significantly over, extra time is charged at $170/hr

  • Deposits
    • $50 deposit – small tattoos
    • $100 deposit – sessions 3 + hours
    • Non-refundable, but can be transferred once with 24 + hours’ notice
    • Deducted from your final total
    • No-shows / late cancellations = deposit forfeited

  • Cancellations / Reschedules
    • Minimum 24 hours’ notice required
    • Less than 24 hrs = loss of deposit
    • Repeated no-shows may lead to refusal of future bookings

  • Design Policy

    • Designs created after deposit is paid
    • No previews before the appointment
    (except for large or detailed pieces)
    • Small tweaks on the day okay
    – Major changes = reschedule
    • Please provide references, rough size & placement
    for accurate quotes and timing

  • Consultations

    • Optional for small pieces
    • Large / detailed tattoos can include a
    15–30 min consult (in-person or online) on request

  • Tattoo Warranty & Touch-Ups
    • 3-month warranty for workmanship issues (e.g. light patches).
    • Touch-ups:
    – Up to 15 mins → $50
    – 30 mins + → $100
    • A complimentary touch-up may be offered if you’re returning for a new tattoo (time permitting).
    • To request a complimentary touch-up, please send a new, clear, square-on photo of the healed tattoo.
    • Touch-ups must be booked within 3 months of the original appointment.
    • Design changes = new booking.
    • Complimentary touch-ups apply only if aftercare was properly followed.
    • Complimentary touch-ups do not include:
    – Adding shading
    – Adding or changing colour/white
    – Altering colour (e.g. red → black)

     

    Greywash / Light-Wash Tattoo Policy
    • Greywash and intentionally light tattoos are more prone to soft healing, fading, and light patches, even with perfect technique.
    • Clients choosing a lighter look are advised that it will likely require a touch-up to maintain visibility.
    • Because this is an expected outcome of choosing a light wash, greywash/light tattoos do not qualify for a complimentary touch-up.
    • Touch-ups for light-wash pieces follow standard touch-up pricing:
    – Up to 15 mins → $50
    – 30 mins + → $100
    • Choosing to go darker at the first appointment generally results in more solid, long-lasting healing.

     

    Finger, Hand, Feet & Ear Touch-Up Policy
    • I’m happy to tattoo these areas, but they do not include a complimentary touch-up.
    • Touch-up costs: typically $50–$100+ depending on size and amount of fading (larger rework may be charged at my hourly rate).
    • I discuss these placements in detail beforehand. Even with perfect technique, factors beyond my control (skin texture, movement, friction, frequent washing, exposure) affect healing.
    • Because of this, fading, patchiness, and ink loss are common and not covered under the standard warranty.

  • QUOTE VALIDITY
    All tattoon and touch up quotes are valid for 2 weeks from the date they are given.
    Prices may change if your appointment is rescheduled or cancelled outside that timeframe. Any quotes older than 2 weeks will be re-quoted at current rates.

  • Other notes

    • I don’t tattoo inside fingers, palms, or soles
    • Clients must not attend intoxicated
    • Be honest about any medical conditions or medications

  • Payment on the Day

    • Cash preferred
    • Tap & bank transfer available (1.6 % surcharge for tap)
