West Wimmera Shire Council has a vacancy for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to lead the delivery of a high-quality educational program at our Edenhope Service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small and committed team of educators, in a service with excellent facilities in a rural setting.
The successful candidate will have:
- Sound knowledge and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and colleagues
The successful candidate is required to have an approved qualification for minimum graduate entry as an Early Childhood Teacher and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
This position is offered on a part-time basis, with hours negotiable between 24-32 hours per week to suit the successful candidate.
