Your body directly affects how your tattoo takes, feels, and heals. Preparing well supports both comfort and results.
1. Rest
Get a full night of sleep. A rested body handles pain and long sessions better.
2. Hydration
Drink plenty of water in the 24–48 hours before your appointment. Hydrated skin receives ink more smoothly and heals faster.
3. Nutrition
Eat a full, balanced meal before your session. Avoid alcohol or heavy caffeine the day before and day of your tattoo.
4. Skin Care
Moisturize daily leading up to your appointment, but arrive with clean, lotion-free skin. Avoid tanning, sunburns, or exfoliation in the area to be tattooed.
5. General Health
If you’re sick, recovering from another procedure, or your immune system feels low, please reschedule. Healing depends on overall health.
6. Focus + Presence
A calm, nourished, and well-rested body creates the best environment for precision, flow, and endurance during your session.
