    Enrolment for research degrees is in September or January of each year. Please be aware that the admission process for PhD study includes completing a full proposal and research plan, which can take several months, depending on the amount of preparatory research you have done already.

  • Please note: While we do try to reserve some small tuition bursaries and discounts for International students each year, as a small independent institution without direct government funding, we are generally not able to offer large or full scholarships to students each year. Those of our students who are not able to access government grants or loans themselves are often supported by their churches, denominations, or institutions, if they are training for ministry or academic work.

    Students must provide original documentary evidence of all qualifications claimed, in the form of examination certificates, diplomas and/or academic transcripts. If these are not immediately available, it is the responsibility of the applicant to contact the educational institutions concerned to request this information to be forwarded direct to the Admissions Coordinator. Ahead of this, applicants may upload electronic copies using the links provided.

  • English Language Proficiency

    All teaching at the College is conducted in English, so applicants whose first language is not English or who are not from exempt countries need to demonstrate proficiency in English through completion of an IELTS test with a minimum score of 7.0, or its equivalent, overall. You are responsible for arranging to take the appropriate test and for submitting the documentary evidence. This is not required for permanent residents of the UK or other EU nations.

  • Since you will not need a student visa, you must still provide evidence that you will be able to study at Postgraduate (Research) level in English if English is not your first language. An IELTS (7.0 overall score) is one way to show this, but some equivalents may be acceptable. If you have not already taken an IELTS and wish to discuss your options, please contact the admissions department of the college once your application is submitted.

When the application has been received, the college will contact the referees with the appropriate forms. You will be notified when your application is complete.
