Lions Vision Services is excited to host TWO Blind Fishing Events in 2026! The Santee Blind Fishing Event will be held at Camp Woodie (Pinewood, SC) on April 5, 2026. The Catawba Blind Fishing Event will be held in theFall of 2026
All South Carolinian blind and visually impaired residents are eligible to attend ONE of the Blind Fishing Events per year. Each attendee is able to bring ONE GUEST.

TRANSPORTATION
LVS provides complementary group bus transportation to each event and back to the pickup destination. The pickup destinations are fixed and non-negotiable.

Santee Blind Fishing: We will provide pick up/drop off from a centralized location in the Charleston area that is TBD. We will be departing early morning (between 6:30-7:00am) from this location. Please indicate below if you would like information about the transportation option.

Health Statement
If you are experiencing symptoms of the flu, Covid 19, or other illness that affects your ability to attend the event, please notify LVS immediately. Your status at future events will not be affected by legitimate medical illnesses. LVS may request medical documentation.

Group events like this inherently contain risk of contact with other people, and the possibility of transmitting or receiving Covid 19, flu, or other illnesses, and I expressly waive and absolve the organization, volunteers, Lions Clubs, and the sponsors, in all their various entities of any legal action, complaint, or demand for damages brought by me or my assigns or beneficiaries. Lions Vision Services reserves the right to modify these guidelines based on the most recent recommendations from the CDC and the transmission rate of viruses at the time of the event.

Media Release
LVS wants you to be informed of our intent to use your story, quotes or photographs, letters and media that may contain your image or information. LVS uses client stories in an online website, internal and external newsletters, program pamphlets, donation appeals, grant requests and other materials.

I hereby give LVS permission to use general interest information, quotes, photographs of any minor and/or myself named below for publicity, promotion, news releases, videos, and web use of LVS. This might also apply to the written composition or visual art of the minor and/or myself if it is published. I hereby release and discharge LVS from any and all claims arising out of the use of the general interest information/quotes/ photograph that I or any minor child(ren) listed may have in this regard. I have had the opportunity to read and
consider the contents of this authorization and agree with the purpose of this permission.

General Liability Release
I understand and agree that I will be participating in this event at my own risk and I do hereby certify that: Lions Vision Services, their employees, any and all volunteers involved in this event, including volunteer boat owners
and/or operators, and volunteer providers of emergency medical services, are not liable for any personal injuries or losses that may occur as a direct, or indirect, result of my participation in this event.
**CANCELLATION POLICY** I confirm that my schedule allows for my attendance at this event. If my schedule changes and I am unable to attend, I will notify LVS at the earliest possible convenience and am aware that last-minute cancellations can affect my future attendance at LVS events. LVS is proud to run this event and provide this experience at no cost to the blind and visually impaired attendees and their guest. However, it is expensive to operate and space is limited. Any attendee who registers for the event and fails to show up without contacting LVS will be barred from future events. If anything changes your ability to attend after you register, please contact LVS immediately!*
