  • Overview

    Tulsa Immigrant Community Development Corporation dba Eastside Rise is soliciting qualified and licensed general contractors to provide home repair services for owner-occupied residences as part of the East Tulsa Home Repair Program.   


    The program assists low- to moderate-income homeowners in improving the safety, health, and habitability of their homes. Repairs may include roofing, plumbing, electrical, accessibility modifications, and other essential improvements.

     
    Homeowners are approved through Eastside Rise, and bids are sent to contractors to complete. Once a bid has been selected, the contractor is required to coordinate directly with the homeowner to complete the work. All payments are made directly to the contractor by Eastside Rise. More details can be found in the Contractor Guidelines. 

  • Contractor eligibility 

    1.Insurance: 

    • General Liability Insurance - All contractors shall have general liability insurance that insures $500,000 for each occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate. 
    • Workers Comp Insurance - All contractors shall carry workers compensation insurance in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, for all persons engaged in work at the site. 
    • Vehicle Insurance: All contractors shall carry comprehensive automobile insurance in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma and City of Tulsa. 

    2. Not De-Barred: Contractors cannot be “debarred” from bidding on government funded projects. Contractors can check if they are excluded or “debarred” from doing business with the federal government at SAM.gov.

    5. Unique Entity Identification ID (UEIs): Available for free from SAM.gov. 

  • Scope of Work 


    Contractors may be selected to perform repairs at one or multiple homes located within Tulsa, OK. Typical work may include, but is not limited to: 

    • Roof replacement or repair 
    • Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs 
    • Window and door replacement Accessibility modifications (ramps, grab bars, etc.) 
    • Interior and exterior repairs to correct code violations or safety hazards
    • Painting, flooring, or weatherization improvements.                                   

    All work must comply with applicable local building codes and permit requirements. Contractors are responsible for obtaining all required permits and inspections. Each home will include a specific bid request and scope of work issued prior to construction.
