We look forward to seeing you with us this season!
  • Participation Levels

Our participation levels and fees are as follows:

    • Developmental is for beginners grades K-5 (generally ages 5-10). Athletes in grades 4-5 who have previous experience with us or another competitive sport are encouraged to consider our Intermediate level. Fee: $250 (meet entry is optional and not included with registration to preserve the developmental nature of each child in this level)
    • Intermediate is for athletes in 6th grade and those in 4th-5th grades who have prior experience with us or greater experience in other competitive sports (generally ages 9-11). Please be aware that this level practices at the same time as Competitive and shares the same space so requires more focus. Fee: $500
    • Competitive is for all athletes in grades 7-12, and athletes in grade 6 with previous experience in organized track and field. Fee: $600
    • Elite is for athletes in grades 10-12, and athletes must be approved before registering. This level is standard-based for entry, and a request form must be submitted prior to registration. If you haven't done so already, please view our standards HERE and submit the request form HERE. Space is limited due to the specialization of this level. Fee: $750

Movement between levels, especially Developmental and Intermediate, during the season is common. We will discuss how this works in the orientation presentation.

What you invest in us, we invest in you! Our coaches are not paid but coach out of sheer joy for this sport (and are bar none some of the best you'll ever find!) so your fees go 100% toward you athlete's needs in this program!

This form does not support multiple registrations at this time. A separate form must be completed per registrant. We apologize for the inconvenience!

  • Please Consider Helping us Make a Difference!

  • "It takes a village to raise a child," an adage we take to heart!

The Minnesota Flyers Track & Field Club is a non-profit organization that is home to young student-athletes from a large socio, cultural, and economic demographic, and whose members dedicate themselves to providing athletic training, academic resources, and nutritional support to our youth every year.  Research has made clear that students who are involved in athletic activities make healthier lifestyle choices, build memories and friendships that last a lifetime, enjoy their scholastic experience more, increase their chances for post-secondary successes, and are better prepared to meet the challenges of adult life. Our program is deeply rooted in our Core Values and has the ultimate goal of building well-rounded student-athletes, positive futures, and socially conscious, caring citizens who are successful in every facet of their current and future lives.  Yet building and maintaining a perennially active organization takes time, dedication, passion, and community support.

By joining our Booster Club or donating to help a teammate in need, your contribution provides us a way to support our athletes, mission, coaches, and staff, and most importantly make a difference in the lives of our young, hard-working youth!

  • Become a Booster!

(Joining is not required to complete this registration.)

Your one-time tax-deductible donation to join our Booster Club will allow us to provide valuable services that support the entire program including: uniforms and shoes, necessary equipment, food and nutritional support, tutoring and educational assistance, team bonding activities, updated technology and coaching resources, and athlete scholarships! Complete details including membership levels, fees, and perks can be found on our Booster Club page here plus you're welcome to join now during this registration process! Of course, you're also always welcome to join another time by returning to our Booster Club page.

The Minnesota Flyers organization appreciates your support!!

  • Consider Donating to Help a Teammate in Need!

Booster plans on hold for now? Or wish to become both a booster and a donor? Your help is much appreciated and always goes toward athletes in need! Here are some suggested donation amounts:

  • Our village appreciates your generosity because...

  • Travel Policy, Relay Policy, and Deposits

Please read carefully! Our travel and relay operations have changed, and some of this information might be new to you. By checking the acknowledgement box below, you are confirming your understanding of these changes and commitment to our new guidelines.
  • Team Travel: Traveling with the team is a priviledge. While travel is optional and everyone is welome to travel with family, all chaperoned athletes must be of high school age, and team travel in a chaperoned capacity is contingent upon, but not limited to...

    • Qualification
    • Work ethic exibited at practices and meets
    • Travel fees
    • Behavior during current & past seasons
    • Behavior on prior trips
    • Adherence to our Athlete Code of Conduct policy at any point throughout current or prior seasons
    • Relay placements

Behavior contradicting these points will result in not being able to travel as a chaperoned athlete. If at any point an athlete traveling in a chaperoned capacity violates any conduct, travel, or other policy, their trip is forfeit (regardless of location or date within the trip) and their parent/guardian is responsible for retrieving them or making arrangements for them to go home.

In order to be chaperoned, athletes must demonstrate their ability to...

    • Uphold our Athlete Code of Conduct, Travel, and Relay policies
    • Navigate high level competition
    • Follow intruction both on and off the track
    • Be responsible towards their time and health
    • Be respectful of roommates' competition schedules
    • Respect other teammates and their shared spaces
    • Respect all coaches and staff
    • Keep their rooms clean

Relays: Relays are contingent on athlete participation and travel preparation. Due to the high level of competition at the Regional and National levels, relays will only be entered if they will advance through the series, if they are complete, and if each member has firm travel plans.

If I am on a relay, I understand that...

    • I have an obligation to my relay team to be reliable, consistent, and accountable
    • I may lose my relay placement if I do not put in equal work, fail to consistently show up to relay practice, violate the Athlete Code of Conduct, etc.
    • My spot on a team is only secured once my travel plans are finalized before the posted deadlines

Travel Deposits: If you are committed to traveling with us to Regionals and Nationals, please consider planning ahead and submitting your deposit(s) in this form. You can still travel with the team if deposits are not submitted during registation, but we encourage you to start preparing soon as space in our team arrangements is limited.

By submitting travel deposits, athletes/families understand that...

    • Additional fees will be required in order to travel - the deposits secure your placement in our plans, but they do not cover the entire event
    • This only applies to chaperoned athletes
    • Families who wish to travel must make their arrangements separately
    • In the case that the athlete can no longer attend or did not qualify, deposits are refundable if requested prior to the posted travel deadlines in the meet information

If you know you will be attending the travel meets with the team but are not able to submit your deposits ahead of time, please contact admin@minnesotaflyers.com as soon as possible with any inquires. Traveling with us is still possible if we can plan in advance!

Pictures and videos taken of participants enjoying Minnesota Flyers Track and Field activities are often used for program promotion and teaching. I hereby grant permission to use media and quotes of registrant(s) for these purposes.

Behavior Policy: I recognize that disruptive and/or offensive behavior can affect the safety and quality of the learning environment for all involved. Should registrant display disruptive and/or offensive behavior three times during the season, I agree that registrant will be removed from the program. Participation Policy and Payment Disclosure: Registration will be complete only when both form and payment are submitted. Non-paid registrants will not be able to participate until such time as payment is made. Due to high demand, we are not able to "hold" spots. I understand that Minnesota Flyers Track and Field (MNF) registration fees include important per athlete liability and use costs that need to be paid to MNF providers and affiliates prior to registrant participation, so only paid registrants are able to participate.
