Gulf Coast Region DI 2025-2026 Scholarship Application

The Gulf Coast Region of Destination ImagiNation® is pleased to offer a scholarship in the amount of $500 - $1000 to a graduating senior who is a current member of a Destination Imagination® team. The recipient will be recognized at the Gulf Coast Regional Tournament Awards Ceremony on February 21st , 2026.   The monetary award will be given starting in September 2026, as a reimbursement for college-related expenses, such as book purchases, meal plans, tuition, fees, etc.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicant must,

1. Currently be a High School senior (12th Grade)
2. Eligible for graduation May 2026
3. Registered as a member of a Gulf Coast Region DI team for the 2025-2026 Regional Tournament
4. Participate in the Gulf Coast Regional Tournament, on Feb 21st , 2026

Directions:

The form has four sections (all sections are mandatory):

1) Terms and conditions of the scholarship.

2) Personal Information

3)   Short essay response (do not include your name in the response pages)

i)     Short essay response about inspiring new participants to DI.

ii)   Short essay response about how DI will help you achieve your future goals.

4) Upload your high school transcript current through the end of the fall semester

All complete responses must be received by 17th of January 2026 11:59 PM

FAQs:

1)   Applicant signature field does not have to look perfect.
2)   Maximum of 500 words for each response in section II.
3)   Since the responses are evaluated anonymously and independently do not include personally identifiable information in your answers to Section II. Doing so may disqualify your application.

Terms and conditions:
1. Any materials submitted as a part of the application for this scholarship become the property of the Gulf Coast CPSO organization and will not be returned.
2. You give Gulf Coast CPSO a permanent, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free licence (including a right of sub-licence) to use, reproduce, publish and adapt your responses to section II (Short essay responses) of this application for any purpose connected with the Scholarship Program including, but not limited to, the administration and promotion of the Scholarship Program.
3. Gulf Coast CPSO's decision on the award of the scholarship is final and binding.
4. The President of the Executive board of Gulf Coast CPSO reserves the sole discretionary right to revoke the scholarship at any time if the awardee
  1. Acts in a manner that violates the spirit of DI;
  2. Becomes ineligible;
  3. Fraudulently misrepresents any information on the application.
