Athens's Got Talent Registration 2026

The Cottage Sexual Assault Center and Children's Advocacy Center is excited to host its fourth annual "Athens's Got Talent" competition and fundraiser! Individuals and groups of all ages are invited to register and compete for the Judges' Choice Award and the Audience Choice Award! Athens's Got Talent will be held Saturday, May 16th, 2026 at Terrapin (265 Newton Bridge Road, Athens GA 30607). All proceeds benefit The Cottage to continue providing free and confidential services to child and adult survivors in our communities.
Talent Show Guidelines:
- The show is open to all ages.
- Talents may include (but are not limited to): singing, dancing, instrumental music, skits, magic, comedy, martial arts, juggling, lip-synching, etc..
- Every act must register via this form (only one registration form required per group).
- Every act must submit a recording of their talent to be performed.
- All performances will be screened for appropriateness by the Athens’s Got Talent Committee.
- Acts must be no more than 3 minutes.
- Maximum number of participants in an act is 10.
- No profanity or insensitive subject matter will be permitted.
- Costumes must be appropriate for all age groups. This is an all-ages event.
- Acts are responsible for their own props and costumes.
- If your act requires recorded accompanying music, the music must be provided to the Talent Show Committee by May 1st, 2026.
- Acts with any member under 18 years old must have written consent from parents/guardians for each member.
- There will be prizes given for both Judges' Choice and Audience Choice!
- Unique acts are always appreciated!
How to Win Judge's Favorite:
- Every act will be judged by our panel of esteemed community judges.
How to Win Audience Favorite:
- Audience favorite is determined by community votes received (1 vote= $1).
- Every performer will have the opportunity to gather votes from the date of selection up to the date of the talent show!
- Performers should host events/fundraise leading up the talent show to help them win Audience Favorite! Don't worry, we will help provide guidance on how to do this and just remember, every dollar raised will help benefit The Cottage directly!
- Voting will continue at the talent show up until the final act.
Deadline to register: March 1st, 2026

Registration does not guarantee a spot in Athens's Got Talent. At the close of the deadline, all submissions will be reviewed and we will contact those that are chosen to confirm your spot. Contestants will be notified by the end of the week of March 6th, 2026 if they will be in the show.
