Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility for Nomination
a. Nominations will be accepted for individuals who have made significant contributions to their community as fathers or father figures.
b. Nominees must be at least 18 years of age at the time of nomination.
c. The individual submitting the nomination must be at least 18 years old.

2. Nomination Process
a. All nominations must be submitted through the official nomination form.
b. Nominations must be received by the designated deadline to be considered. Late submissions will not be accepted.
c. Nominators may submit only one nomination form per individual.

3. Required Information
a. Complete name, contact information, and any relevant details about the nominee's contributions and impact must be provided in the nomination form.
b. A personal statement from the nominator explaining why the nominee should be honored, not exceeding 100 words, is required.

4. Selection Criteria
a. Nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee based on the nominee's contributions to family and community, inspiring qualities, and overall impact.
b. The committee reserves the right to request additional information regarding the nominee if needed.

5. Announcement
a. Selected nominees will be contacted by June 8th, 2026 and publicly recognized via Gamma Mu Omega's social medial outlets.
b. All nominator information will be kept confidential unless permission is granted by the nominator to publish it.

6. General Conditions
a. By submitting a nomination, you agree to these terms and conditions.
b. The event organizers reserve the right to disqualify any nomination that does not adhere to these terms.
c. The organizers reserve the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

7. Liability
a. The event organizers are not liable for any damages or claims resulting from participation in this nomination process or acceptance of the award.
b. By participating, nominees agree to allow the organizers to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes.

8. Governing Law
a. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which the event is held.
