2026 Black Legacy Awards: Next Gen Edition Nomination
Celebrating trailblazing youth ages 13–21 who are creating positive change — through leadership, creativity, service, advocacy, or innovation. At a moment when cultural expression, representation, and education are under attack, it is vital that we stand together to protect, nurture, and elevate our young leaders. The Black Legacy Awards: Next Gen Edition honors those who are writing the next chapter of our shared story — one rooted in strength, vision, and love for community.
Nomination Details
*Nomination Period: November 24, 2025 – Jan, 9th, 2026. *Eligibility: Nominees must be between 13 and 21 years old and identify as part of the Black/African diaspora. *Who Can Nominate: Teachers, mentors, community leaders, parents, friends, or peers. *Selection & Announcement: Honorees will be announced in January 2026. *Awards Celebration: Honorees will be invited to the Black Legacy Awards Brunch, slated for Saturday, February 28, 2026, on Long Island, NY.
