  • AIS only offers bus transportation within its catchment area.

    Before accepting your residence, always contact the housing department or the AIS bus coordinator to inquire whether the location falls within the AIS catchment area.

    If your residence is not within our service area, there are two options:

    • You arrange your child's transport to / from school yourself or,
    • You arrange yourself your child's transport to / from the nearest established pick up point within the commuting area.

  • Bus transportation is a privelege, not a right

     

    Student behaviour on our school buses is a parental responsibility.

    • Enter the bus safely and always show your bus pass.
    • Stay properly seated and always use your seatbelt.
    • All students must sit in their assigned seats.
    • Keep your hands, feet and other body parts to yourself.
    • Throwing things on the bus is not allowed.
    • Remain clm and use your inside voice.
    • No cussing,swearing or using foul language.
    • Never bring un-safe items to the bus.
    • Eating, drinking or chewing gum is prohibited.
    • Always be responsible, safe and set a good examplefor your fellow passengers.
    • Follow instructions of the bus monitor.
    • Filming and making pictures is not allowed.

    If your details change, for example due to a move to a different station/office, a different address or a different telephone number, you MUST report this to your National office and the bus coordinator.
