Buddies on Blades Program

Level of Skater who can participate

This program is for skaters 3 & 4 yrs of age. 
The Skaters have an older skater "there buddy" assist them with the skills the Skaters are learning. (Skater/Coach ratio is usually 2 skaters to 1 coach)
Once the skater can skate independently they can move into the Learn to Skate Program.  This can be done at anytime through-out the program.
Parents are not allowed on the ice with skater.
No individual skating aids can be brought onto the ice.
Skaters will be required to wear a CSA approved Hockey Helmet.
 

Skating Sessions:  January 7th to March 28th, 2026

• Wednesdays: January 7th to March 4th, 2026
• Thursdays: January 8th to February 26th, 2026
• Saturdays: January to February 28th, 2026  No skating Saturday January 3, 10, 2026  * There are no make up days for these missed Saturdays.
  Gala Practice Sessions and Show: From March 7th to March 27th, is Gala practice. Skaters will continue to develop their skating skills. The show is on March 28th, 2026.  More information to come.

Additional Comments:

• A Confirmation email will be sent out mid December..
• The winter program is being offered at Preston Auditorium.
• Class dates:  January 7th to March 28th, 2026.  Please see above for breakdown of instructional classes and Gala practices.
• All skaters are required to have a home club.
• Once the form has been submitted their are no refunds.
• Information about the 2026 Gala will be available at a later date.
• If you decide not to participate in the Gala there is no refund.

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

I, the undersigned accept full financial responsibility for this application form. I understand that there will be no refunds of deposits or due balances after the deadline dates. I agree that PFSC, Huston, Wheeler & Wheeler Skating Schools (KLFSS Inc) will not be held responsible for any accidents or loss, however caused and agree to release indemnity and save harmless the PFSC, Huston, Wheeler & Wheeler Skating Schools (KLFSS Inc) from all damage or claims as a result of such accidents or loss. I agree my child / ward will abide by the rules and regulations of the PFSC, Champions Training Centre of Cambridge {KLFSS Inc} as set by the directors. Any disregard for these rules will result in the removal of the Skater from our skating program without refund of any fees paid.

BY ACKNOWLEDGING AND SIGNING BELOW, I AM DELIVERING AN ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE THAT WILL HAVE THE SAME EFFECT AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE. THE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE WILL BE EQUALLY AS BINDING AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE.
