Welcome to Airstreams Return to Cadillac Rally
60 years ago on June 29, 1966, the 9th International Rally was held in the small town of Cadillac, Michigan. A whopping 2828 Airstreams gathered for a week just south of the Wexford County Airport and was said to be one of the largest rally. According to WBCCI/WBAC Historian, Bob Peplinksi in an article written for the Blue Beret in February 2018:
“The nearly 10,000 attendees doubled Cadillac’s population for the duration of the rally! The rally theme was ‘Funderland’ to highlight the promise of fun in all of Michigan’s wonderlands, including lakes Cadillac & Mitchell, just a short distance from the rally site.”

TWO Service Projects to support the Veterans Serving Veterans, Inc. on Friday
1. Split-rail fence - We will extend the split rail fence to meet with the chain linked fence corner of the motor cycle club fence on the northwest corner of the park. That would seal off the last vulnerable entry into the park for wheeled vehicles. Along with previous fence installed by rally goers, it will look nice and define the property.
2. Boulevard landscaping - The traffic island curbing has been poured. The Defending Freedom Sign, traffic island lamppost, landscaping rocks, electrical and irrigation will be in the island and it will be ready for landscaping plants and perennials. VSV will ask for plant donations early in the season and should have some funds for plant purchase as well. The island is 150’ long, so, it will be an undertaking.
Free Jazz concert at the Rotary Pavilion on Th, July 16. Cadillac Area Arts Festival Weekend: July 17-19 Food Booths, Free music concerts, art fair. Cadillac has lots of opportunities for hiking, biking, walking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and boating.
