Teacher Expectations:
1. Provide quality music instruction for one on one scheduled private lessons.
2. Comfortably navigate student(s) curriculum and dynamic one-on-one needs.
3. Utilize proficient pedagogy and skill on the instruments being taught.
4. Teach using music notation for learning rudiments, techniques, theory, and songs.
5. Arrive at the studio location on time, and prepared, with your own necessary equipment for teaching.
6. Greet students in the studio lobby to meet them, and communicate lesson progress with the parents of young students after the lesson (ask the front desk for help identifying students you have not met before).
7. Sign in to and navigate the Opus1 scheduling software for student information and your teaching schedule.
8. Communicate in a timely and appropriate manner (phone and email) for any questions, changes, and updates with the Lessons Manager or other 7DC Lessons Staff.
9. Dress casually but appropriately for private lessons with both kids and adults; visually represent 7DC's culture and vibe.
