The Social Soiree is a licensed 501 c 3 that saw a growing need to create a more inclusive pathway for the next generation to get involved in giving back to the place they call home. Many of us had experienced firsthand the anxiety that can accompany attending traditional galas: barriers created by financial constraints, social class differences, or the discomfort of unfamiliar social environments. We knew there had to be a better way. A way to make philanthropy feel accessible, inviting, and celebratory for everyone, whether they could only afford a single ticket or had the means to give thousands.
We use our individual talents, networks, and resources to join forces to raise funds and awareness for a community-nominated nonprofit in Kitsap County, typically organizations that are doing vital, heartfelt work but lack the resources to host a gala or large-scale fundraiser of their own.
These nonprofits, often operating with minimal budgets and boundless dedication, rarely get the opportunity to celebrate themselves, let alone raise significant funds in a single evening. The Social Soirée is our way of giving them the stage they so richly deserve.
But this isn’t just about fundraising. It’s about connection.
Our gala bridges the gap between community members, introducing neighbors to nonprofits they may never have encountered otherwise. It sparks conversations, inspires new relationships, and strengthens the bonds that hold our community together. When we come together across generations, industries, and backgrounds, we create something far greater than any one of us could achieve alone.
At its heart, The Social Soirée is a celebration of generosity, resilience, and the beautiful power of women-led collaboration. And we believe that the stronger we grow as a community, the more deeply enriched every life within it becomes.
