Grotesque Fest Submission Form

Grotesque Fest is a Performance, Film, and Art Showcase featuring bizarre, experimental, or grotesque projects from midwestern creators. Our shows take place for two days twice a year at Bryant Lake Bowl in Minneapolis!

Performers will open the show on both nights. They are allotted up to 10 minutes and a single $200 stipend for their performances. We work with 1 Performer/Group per show.

Artwork is featured between each film.

Before each show, we have an area where participants are welcome to sell any merch, prints, etc. You get to keep anything you make from these sales. However, we are not an art market event.

After each show, we reimburse any show expenses and split ticket sales per project involved (films, art, performance, etc).

Good to Know Info

We do not accept AI Generated Films or Artwork.

Our Film Run Time limit is around 20-25 minutes.

Films can be music videos, shorts, etc. It's durational media that needs to be watched on a screen.

Our Submissions are rolling and always open. You can send us work at any point, and what we don't use for one show we look at again for future shows.
