Confidentiality and Supervision

I am honored to be your coach and am committed to providing you a safe environment where you can be yourself. I use a combination of life coaching, mentoring, and discipling in my approach. Confidentiality is vital for trust. Communication between client and coach are confidential and will not be revealed unless required by law such as in situations of child abuse or threats of physical harm to self or others or subpoena of a court.

At times, I may consult with another life coach or counselor regarding my coaching practice. When doing so, I will not share identifying information about you.

If your coaching sessions are being paid for by an employer or other organization, the information necessary for billing will be shared with that organization. This may include your name, dates of service, and number of sessions. The content of your coaching conversations will remain confidential.

Life Coaching and Mental Health

Life coaching is different from counseling or psychotherapy. As a life coach, I do not diagnose mental health conditions. Coaching may include helping you explore and work through experiences such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress, discouragement, or other emotional challenges. Coaching is intended to support you as you navigate these experiences and make decisions about how you want to move forward.

Life coaching does not replace care from a licensed mental health professional when such care is needed. If a situation arises that is outside the scope of coaching, I may recommend that you seek additional support from an appropriate professional.

Payment Procedures and Cancellations

An invoice will be sent via email after the session is completed through PayPal. Payments can be made by credit card and are expected to be paid in full on the same business day.

If your sessions are being paid for by a company or organization that has offered to cover the cost of your coaching, you will not receive an invoice.

Please notify me by phone or email if you need to cancel. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the session fee, except in the case of illness or other emergency.

Communication and Signature

While I will take reasonable precautions to protect your confidential information, you acknowledge that e-mail, texting, calling & social networking is not a completely secure method of communication.
