The National Association of University Women, Inc. Flushing-North Shore Branch (NAUW-FNS) is seeking applicants for its 2026 Scholarship Awards. Please be advised that this award is given once to high school graduates who are entering their first year as a matriculated student at a 4-year College or University in Fall 2026.
Please read the packet carefully and adhere to all listed instructions.
All applicants must meet every criteria listed below:
1. RESIDE OR ATTEND A SCHOOL whose zip code begins with 111 or 113. (Example: East Elmhurst, Corona, Jackson Heights, Astoria, Woodside, Flushing, LeFrak City, Forest Hills, Oakland Gardens, Rego Park, Elmhurst, Long Island City, Middle Village, Bayside, Fresh Meadows
2. US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
3. African American or African descent. Male and Female Students are Eligible to Apply.
4. High School Seniors expecting to graduate by June 2026, who will attend a 4-year College or University in Fall 2026.
5. Minimum GPA: C or 2.0/4.0 scale
